Canetta Doriel Bentonite Clay Body Wraps

Clay body wraps absorb and draw out toxins in our skin.  Bentonite clay is a rock, fine-grained in structure and composed of many montmorillonite minerals. It is an excellent clay to use for detoxing. From the properties of the clay, you can almost tell what it does. The mud is beautiful to other metals and dirt. Its ability to attract heavy metals, ions, and unwanted compounds makes it perfect for detoxing and cleansing the system.

Bentonite Clay particles hold a negative electrical charge, while toxins have a positive
control. The negatively charged particles draw the toxins out of the skin
through the pores. sea salts, commonly used to
exfoliate skin before clay wraps, also remove toxins from the body and
deliver mineral nutrients to the skin. There are also up to 5 added minerals to help with the detox process, including Magnesium, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Oxide, Potassium,  and Zinc. All enhance the detox process and allow the detox benefits to last longer.

Benefits to Skin

The skin suffers a lot of irritations every day due to constant exposure to environmental toxins. This makes it more in need of detoxification and cleansing, which gets rid of the accumulated toxins that can make it look old and
unhealthy.

Here are the benefits of bentonite clay detox for the skin:

  • Reduces lines and wrinkles
  • Makes the skin look brighter
  • Soothes skin irritations
  • Tones and firms up the skin
  • Reduces large pores
  • Exfoliation of dead skin cells
  • Makes the skin “baby” soft
  • Inch loss

Clay is absorbent, efficiently absorbing excess water from the skin and creating empty pockets between tissue layers. The pressure of a clay body wrap can compact the layers of tissue, resulting in toned skin and
temporary loss of inches. The inch loss and appearance of weight loss are temporary and last a couple of weeks.

Here’s the recipe:

1 Cup Of Canetta Doriel Bentonite Mud Mask

1/4 Canetta Doriel Sea Salt Scrub

2 Tbsp. Lymph Drainage Oil

Cups distilled water

In a medium pot heat, 1 cup of mud mask and add 1/2 of water for 5-10 mins. Remove from heat and then add sea salt, stir until dissolved, add 2 tbsp of lymph drainage oil, and continue stirring until all ingredients mix well. Put the solution in a plastic bowl and stir until the paste is formed; if the paste is too thick, add some warm water to thin the mixture; if too thin, add more mud mask.

Wrap

Apply the warm clay mud mask paste to the belly, waist, and middle of the back. Take the plastic wrap around the stomach, abdomen, and back sealing all the mixture while keeping the body warm. Sit in a steamy bathroom for 45 mins. Unwrap your body carefully, shower, and pat dry with your body cream or lotions.

Preparation is the key to making this recipe work. The first time making the Clay paste can be a bit messy. That’s why most prefer to have this done professionally in the spa. But once you get the hang of  DIY can be easy.  Body wraps can force out extra fluids trapped under the skin, so drinking plenty of water before and after in-home body wraps is recommended.
